We are based out of the adventure hub in Himachal, Manali. The town also plays gateway to remote Lahaul, Spiti and Ladakh. And the best time to experience all three is between July and September, which also coincides with the time when monsoons hit this side of the Rohtang pass.

Whether it's the season in Manali or in Ladakh, Lahaul or Spiti, we are always where the action is and not trying to run our trips from a city in the plains. It also means that all your money goes directly on the field operations and staff rather than sub-contracting our trips to others.

Our "business model" is simple - we are a true paperless and office-less company with only a laptop each. The trip leader handling a particular trip is responsible for everything that goes into making that trip a success. Why else should you consider Above 14000ft?

1. Our knowledge of the Indian Himalayas comes from living, working and experiencing the mountains first-hand, not from once-a-year trips.

2. Our programs aren't farmed to sub contractors. We do the planning; we do the execution - the logistics, the outfitting and the instruction.

3. Our wilderness programs and extended expeditions to remote and untouched parts of the mountains gets you face-to-face with the real Himalayas.

4. No other company runs Himachal, Ladakh and Zanskar as well as we do.
