Drive over the highest motorable road in the world (Khardung La – 5606m) leading into the Changthang Plateau, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri Lake and the Nubra Valley. Travel along the ancient Silk Route, the link between India and Central Asia. Since most of the places in the safari are at a high altitude, the participants are advised to spend a few extra days in Manali to acclimatize.

Day 01: Leh
Duration: 7 hours
Arrive in Leh and check into the hotel. Later on, visit Thiksey, Shey and Hemis monasteries.
Day 02: Leh – Diskit
Duration: 7 hours
Drive to Diskit (3080m) in the Nubra Valley over the world’s highest motorable pass Khardungla (5606).
Day 03: Nubra valley
Visit Hunder, Panamik, Sasoma and return to Diskit. On the way you will also see the dessert on the valley floor, complete with Bactrian camels which are hired out for short rides.
Day 04: Diskit – Leh
Duration: 7 hours
Drive back to Leh via Khardung La.
Day 05: Departure from Leh to Delhi.
