MENTOK KANGRI I, II and III

The base camp of the three Mentok Kangri peaks just a day's walk away from Korzok on the banks of Tso Moriri lake. While there are technical sections, it's one of the easier peaks in Indian Changthang. The nearest town is Leh, the capital of Ladakh. SEASON: July to September

ALTITUDE: 6200m, 6150m, 6250m

NUMBER OF DAYS: 12 days

GRADING: Technical

Day 01: Arrival in Leh

Day 02 and 03: Acclimatization days around Leh

Day 04: Drive to Karzok (4600m)

Day 05: An additional acclimatization day around Karzok and Tso Moriri Lake

Day 06: Trek from Karzok to Base Camp

Day 07 to 09: Reserved for establishing Advanced Base Camp and summit attempts

Day 10: Return to Base Camp from Advanced Base Camp

Day 11: Return to Karzok

Day 12: Drive back to Leh
