LADAKH LAKES HIMALAYAN SAFARI
A safari in one of the most beautiful and remote regions of the world, the Changthang Plateau. Discover the mesmerising blue waters of the Pangong, Tso Moriri and Tso Kar lakes. You even get to travel along the ancient Silk Route, the link between India and Central Asia and to the highest motorable pass in the world, Khardungla (5606m).

NUMBER OF DAYS: 8 days
Day 01: Leh
Duration: 8 hours
Arrive in Leh and check into hotel. Later visit Thiksey, Shey and Hemis monasteries.
Day 02: Leh - Tso Kar - Tso Moriri
Duration: 10 hours
Start early for Tso Kar. On the way, you will pass Tanglangla, the second highest motorable pass in the world and part of the Changthang plateau called More Plains. After spending some time at Tso Kar, head to Korzok which is on the banks of Tso Moriri. Stay the night at Korzok.
Day 03: Rest day at Tso Moriri
Explore the lake and surrounding areas. Look out for high altitude wildlife such as Kyang (the tibetan wild ass), bar-headed geese, snow fox etc.
Day 04: Tso Moriri - Pangong
Duration: 8 hours
Trace the route back to Leh till Upshi from where a diversion takes you over Changla pass to the huge Pangong lake, 2/3 of which lies in Tibet. Overnight stay at Spangmik on the banks of the lake.
Day 05: Rest day at Pangong
Explore the lake and surrounding areas.
Day 06: Pangong - Leh
Duration: 4 hours
Return to Leh. You can explore the Leh for the rest of the day.
Day 07: Leh - Khardungla - Leh
Duration: 6 hours
Drive upto Khardungla (5606m), world's highest motorable pass which is also the gateway to Nubra valley and Siachen.
Day 08: Depart from Leh
