Chamsher Kangri lies in the Rupsu valley of Ladakh. The base camp of the Chamsher Kangri just a day’s walk away from Korzok on the banks of Tso Moriri lake. Apart from the altitude it is a simple climb one of the easier peaks on the Changthang if one is well acclimatized. The peak can be graded F on the Alpine system. The nearest town is Leh, the capital of Ladakh. The summit offers beautiful views of the Changthang. Chamsher Kangri is adjacent to Lungser Kangri and is also a good trekking peak. The approach is through the village of Korzok on the banks of Tso Moriri and the nearest town is Leh, the capital of Ladakh.

Day 07 to 09: Reserved for establishing Advanced Base Camp and summit attempts
Day 10: Return to Base Camp from Advanced Base Camp
Day 11: Return to Karzok
Day 12: Drive back to Leh
