For Mountaineering in India we offer a good progression for climbing with a lot of expeditions that we run every year which range from 5000m to 7000m peaks across the Indian Himalayas.
At Above 14000ft our efforts are always to make your whole experience with climbing as smooth as possible. We will take care of all your official formalities, which include seeking permissions, booking of the peak, government clearance and all other logistic details. Backed with the experience of organising loads of expeditions in the last eighteen years, we will handle all arrangements from airport transfers to hotel accommodation, transport, high and low altitude support staff, mules, awesome climbing guides, food, great cooks, camping, kitchen gear, technical climbing gear.
We will also help you with extensive pre-trip information, planning, routes, maps, technical or any other details you may require. Please plan your trips such that it allows for 3-4 months of processing time for permits and other official formalities.
Yunam peak was discovered by our lead climbing Guide Bhagwan Singh in 2002 while on a different trip in the area. We knew Yunam peak had all the ingredients to becoming the next most popular trekking peak in India. Today Yunam peak is on its way to becoming the next Stok Kangri or Kanamo Peak for Indian trekking and Climbing enthusiast. Yunam Peak can be graded AD or PD on the Alpine grading scale depending on conditions on the mountain with weather and snow. Yunam peak makes for a great beginner objective for climbers and trekker wanting to get up high.

Deo Tibba & Indrasan Expedition is a popular climb among intermediate mountaineers with some technical experience. Deo Tibba (6001m) can be graded PD on the Alpine grading scale and makes for a great intermediate objective. The alpine grade for Indrasan is a D but can also be a D+ depending on conditions on the mountain with weather and snow. The two have the same base camp and route until the summit camp making for an excellent twofer option for mountaineers looking to make the most of their time spent on the mountain.

North of Manali the highest peak in the Pir Panjal range is Hanuman Tibba 5940m. A popular peak with climbers who have good mountaineering knowledge, Hanuman Tibba is approached from the Beas Kund Glacier. The nearest town is Manali. The peak can be graded PD on the Alpine grading system.

One of our most favourite areas for Basic Climbing, Ski mountaineering and Ski touring is the Beaskund glacier. This peak is approached from Manali. Friendship peak on the Beas Kund Glacier is an ideal non-technical or trekking peak for those with limited or no mountaineering knowledge. It is makes for a great first climb and is one of our most popular peaks in the area. The nearest road head is Solang nulla in Manali.

Menthosa peak is the second highest peak in the Lahaul valley. Situated on periphery of the Miyar Nulla this is a good climb to progress you climbing and mountaineering skills. Depending on what season you choose to climb the peak the grade can vary between a PD and a AD. The climb offers some amazing sights of the Miyar valley. If you choose to travel around here early to late spring then this can also be a good ski mountaineering objective.

One of our Classics CB 13 is a magnificent peak on the Dhaka glacier that is visible from Chandertal. CB stands for Chandra Bhaga Range. The Tharang Nulla is a side valley running East of the main Miyar Nulla. The Miyar nulla is one of the best valleys of Lahaul. The Tharang Group consists of 3 main peaks: Tharang 3 - 5870m, Tharang 1 - 6066m and Tharang 2 - 6011m. The Miyar valley is a mountaineers Delight with innumerable 5000 - 6000m peaks it is also often compared to the Yosemite of the East with is amazing Granite walls. The grade for all 3 peaks can vary between F - AD depending on what you choose to climb.

A climbers peak Indrasan was first climbed by the members of the Kyoto University Alpine club, Japan in 1962. It is a fine climb and a fairly challenging one too. Indrasan in local lore is supposed to be the seat of Lord Indra the king of Heaven and also the Devas. He is supposed to be the god of lightning, thunder, storms, rain and river flows. The approach to this peak is from the final plateau of Deo Tibba where we generally put up camp 2. The Grade for tis climb can be between AD and D depending on what month you do this climb.

Set above the vast Nimaling pasture, it is a beautiful peak at the head of the Markha Valley; Kang Yatze is an amazing peak to climb as it offers variety to both the novice climber and also to the a climber who is trying to progress his/her skills to the next level. Kang Yatze 1 is 6400m and the lower Summit is 6200m. The grade for all 3 peaks can vary between F - AD depending on what you choose to climb.

Mentok Kangri lies in the Rupsu valley of Ladakh. The group consists of 3 peaks 6200m, 6150m and 6250m. The base camp of the three Mentok Kangri peaks is just a day's walk away from Korzok on the banks of Tso Moriri lake. While there are a few technical sections, it's one of the easier peaks on the Changthang if one is well acclimatised. These peaks can be graded F - AD on the Alpine system. The nearest town is Leh, the capital of Ladakh.

The Nun Kun massif are the biggest peaks that dominate the Upper Suru valley in the Zanskar. Nun is 7135 m and is higher of the 2 massifs. Our objective is to climb this peak via the West ridge route. I think Nun and Kun are both very attractive climbs considering how easily they can be accessed by road and then within a days hike we get to base camp. Grade can vary between PD to AD. This peak is surely a natural progressing if 8000m is on your bucket list.

Mt Kun 7077 m is the smaller of the 2 massif's and is approached via the Shafat glacier. The trek to Base camp from the road is a day long. Again Kun like Nun can be a natural progression for anyone looking at doing an 8000m climb in the future. The first ascent of Kun happend in 1913 by Italian mountaineer Mario Piacenza. Grade of Kun can vary between PD and AD.
