“The land north of Gangadwar is known to the wise as Paradise Ground. Apart from this land, the rest is called Earth elsewhere.”

– Kedarkhand Skanda Purana

Any journey into the Himalayas is one of wanderlust, adventure, spiritual evolution, mysticism… It is as much an inner journey of contemplating your love, life and universe as it is an outer journey of climbing mountains, fording raging rivers or crossing flowing glaciers. And in doing all this, somewhere along the way, we come face-to-face with ourselves.

Each year, people of all ages join our journeys. They join our treks and wander through pristine Himalayan pine, green oak and deodar forests, high passes and glaciers, touching altitudes of 14000ft and more, learning as they go, to recognize mushrooms, marmots, ibex, wild flowers, birds and the difference between deodars and chinars.

Then there are those who decide to be more adventurous and learn the skills to climb mountains. They trudge through the lessons that will later enable them to survive on a cliff-face and trust ropes and harnesses to keep them safe. For those who graduate from these mountaineering courses and others who are already proficient mountaineers, we organize guided climbs to peaks ranging from 5000m to 7000m.

Wandering the Himalayas on a cycle, as some people have discovered, is both amazing and challenging. It’s a growing tribe and for them, we offer cycling journeys that takes them over high passes and to remote lakes. We take care of logistics – food, stay, routes – and let you just enjoy the ride.

We also have the 4 x 4 Himalayan safaris, taking you to remote corners of the Himalayas that have recently been connected by a fine network of jeep-able tracks. The lakes, the highest motorable passes in the world and ancient cultures – all become just a drive away.
